The Organization Persevere Until Something Happens (PUSH) was established in May 2001 as a community-based Organization. It is registered as a Non-Profitable Organization with the Department of Social Development. PUSH is based in Eldorado Park/Kliptown based in the South-West of Johannesburg. Eldorado Park is surrounded by 4 informal settlements, with a population of approx. 550 000 to 600 000 people. “P.U.S.H started as a HIV testing station, I knew that God gave me a piece of His love for people, I was not going to stand back with this desire to change lives without doing something about it. Its more than 20 years later and we are now running multiple initiatives to empower, improve, sustain and affect change in the lives of underserved communities” Of the 21 years serving the community, we’ve partnered with like-minded sponsors and funders who generously provided financial assistance and resources in order to aid in our mission to inspire, motivate, educate, empower and build a lasting legacy for generations to come.
